Job Overview:

United Trades of America is currently hiring Skilled Carpenters for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. We're looking for dependable and experienced professionals with a strong background in framing, finish work, and blueprint reading. Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications

• Construct, install, and repair wood and wood-substitute structures (walls, floors, ceilings, doors, etc.)

• Measure and mark materials accurately using rulers, chalk lines, and other marking devices

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently

• Collaborate with other trades (electricians, plumbers, laborers) on job sites

• Ensure work complies with safety codes and OSHA standards

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

• Conduct regular quality checks to verify adherence to specifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry (commercial/industrial preferred)

• Strong proficiency in blueprint and technical drawing interpretation

• Familiarity with a wide range of carpentry techniques and materials

• Physically capable of performing construction tasks including lifting, climbing, and kneeling

• Attention to detail, with excellent craftsmanship and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• OSHA certification preferred but not required
