Machine Operator

Position Overview:

Schreiber Foods is seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join our production team as Machine Operator. In this role, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our dairy processing lines, performing critical tasks such as machine operation, quality control, and packaging, while maintaining a strong focus on food and partner safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and monitor equipment performance to ensure efficient processing and packaging.

• Perform product quality checks according to customer and company standards.

• Package final product for distribution, ensuring accuracy and presentation.

• Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping guidelines.

• Wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow OSHA safety regulations.

• Collaborate with team members and follow production schedules and priorities.

• Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping related to production activities.

Work Schedule:

• Multiple shift structures are available, including:

  • Weekday and weekend shifts

• Overtime and weekend work may be required.

• Regular and punctual attendance is essential.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and work in both cold and hot environments.

• Ability to operate equipment such as electronic pallet jacks.

• Must pass post-offer background check and drug screening.
