Job Overview:

As a Sales Associate, you are a Bloomingdale’s brand ambassador. You are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales through personalized interactions, and creating an elevated shopping experience. You will bring style to life through expert product knowledge and an energetic presence on the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism

• Build strong client relationships and follow up to encourage repeat business

• Meet or exceed sales goals and productivity standards

• Stay up-to-date on store promotions, events, and brand launches

• Ensure a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor

• Process sales and returns using POS systems accurately

• Collaborate with team members to support a positive and inclusive store culture

Qualifications & Competencies:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 1+ year of retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A passion for fashion, customer service, and team collaboration

• Ability to read and follow procedures and operating instructions

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing/walking

• Frequent reaching, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 25 lbs

• Frequent use of technology including POS and mobile devices
