Job Overview:

As a Luxury Personal Shopper, you will be responsible for providing a world-class, highly personalized shopping experience to our most discerning clients. You will use your strong fashion knowledge, interpersonal skills, and sales expertise to drive business, build long-term client relationships, and deliver luxury service that reflects the Bloomingdale’s brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a portfolio of high-value clients through exceptional service and relationship building

• Provide curated product recommendations based on client preferences, trends, and wardrobe needs

• Utilize in-store and digital platforms to offer a seamless omni-channel shopping experience

• Schedule private shopping appointments and host exclusive client events

• Partner with brands and vendors to secure personalized items and VIP services

• Meet or exceed personal and departmental sales goals

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of luxury brands, fashion trends, and new arrivals

• Communicate regularly with clients via phone, email, and text to provide updates and tailored recommendations

Qualifications & Competencies:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

• 3+ years of experience in luxury retail, personal styling, or related role

• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in a client-focused environment

• Strong fashion sense with knowledge of luxury designers and merchandise

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in using digital tools and CRM systems to manage client relationships

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs

• Frequent use of technology, including handheld devices and point-of-sale systems
