Job Overview

The Dishwasher plays a key behind-the-scenes role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our food service areas. This position supports the culinary team by ensuring dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service. The Dishwasher helps maintain a clean and organized back-of-house environment in line with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment and clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools

• Keep kitchen floors, counters, and prep areas clean and safe

• Empty trash, clean waste containers, and follow sanitation procedures

• Assist in restocking clean dishware and kitchen supplies

• Follow Health Department and food safety regulations at all times

• Support cooks and kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth service

Qualifications

• No prior experience required—training provided

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Repetitive motion with hands/arms (scrubbing, lifting, rinsing)

• Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs

• Exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment
