Position Overview:
Schreiber Foods is seeking an HR Supervisor to oversee Human Resources activities at one of our manufacturing and distribution facilities in West Bend, WI. As part of the HR team, you will play a key role in hiring, employee relations, work-life balance, benefits, safety, training, and compliance. This position involves managing HR policies, implementing programs to improve morale and reduce turnover, and fostering a positive work culture. You will also be responsible for strategic workforce planning, including recruitment, staffing, and ensuring fair and consistent communication of policies, compensation, and benefits. This position offers an opportunity to develop and motivate the HR team and work directly with leadership to drive organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Policy and Program Management: Manage and interpret HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Implement programs aimed at reducing turnover and absenteeism while boosting morale and communication.
Team Management and Development: Oversee HR staff, provide guidance, and support career paths for team members. Develop and motivate the HR team to align with company goals.
Employee Relations: Administer employee programs, conduct cultural training, and foster positive partner relations.
Recruitment and Workforce Planning: Lead recruitment efforts and strategic workforce planning to optimize staffing, reduce labor costs, and maintain schedule stability.
Compliance and Legal Oversight: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Communicate policies, benefits, and compensation in a fair and consistent manner.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize HR data (e.g., Excel, HRIS platforms) to evaluate labor deployment and assess the financial impact of various staffing strategies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Manufacturing experience is a plus.

In-depth knowledge of employment law, regulations, and HR best practices
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and HRIS platforms
Work Schedule: Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Additional Requirements: Willingness to relocate in the future for promotional opportunities and ability to travel up to 10% to other Schreiber locations.
