Position Overview

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout our facility. This role ensures that all dishes, flatware, utensils, and kitchenware are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly to uphold our high standards of guest and staff safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and carefully handle all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils

• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently

• Use cleaning chemicals properly and in correct amounts for safety and cost control

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dish areas, floors, walls, drains, and mats

• Empty trash and maintain trash receptacles

• Assist kitchen staff with prep, line maintenance, and pressure point relief as needed

• Stock and maintain kitchen storage areas

• Communicate clearly and positively with team members and guests

• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

• Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment

• Able to stand and walk for entire shifts and lift up to 30 pounds

• Prior maintenance or kitchen experience preferred but not required

• Strong teamwork skills and self-motivation

• Good communication skills

• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, mopping, sweeping, and wiping

• Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
