About the Role:

United Trades of America is actively seeking skilled and motivated Fabrication Pipefitters for an ongoing local project in Decatur, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with industrial pipefitting experience to work with a reputable company committed to safety, craftsmanship, and long-term success.

As a Fabrication Pipefitter, you will be responsible for laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems used in industrial structures. You will work with a variety of pipe materials and must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Attention to detail, safety awareness, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools

• Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and work orders to determine layout and installation procedures

• Install, inspect, and maintain pipe systems in industrial settings

• Perform layout and fabrication tasks with a high degree of accuracy

• Operate equipment such as pipe threading machines, welding torches, and grinders

• Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other trades on the job site

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pipefitter in industrial or structural fabrication environments

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and specifications

• Strong knowledge of pipefitting tools, equipment, and techniques

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and job site regulations

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Local candidates only; this position does not offer per diem or relocation assistance

Pay Rate:
Up to 27 dollars per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule:
Full-time hours with the possibility of overtime depending on project needs
